“If Everything Is Already Karmically Set Or Predestined/Prewritten Why Do Worship,Chanting, Prayer,Manifestation And Everyday Duties Still Matter?”

Last Updated on January 26, 2026 by Author Sammy

Some Of Us Inquisitive And Restless People Feel Enslaved And Imprisoned Due To A Lack Of Clarity. We Frequently Wonder, If Everything Is Karmically Aligned, Why Should We Even Bother Putting Forth Effort, Devoting Our Valuable Time To Worship, Chanting, Performing Remedies, And So On. Because No Matter What We Do,Things Will Move When They’re Supposed To, So Stop Trying.

Most people are familiar with Determinism theory. Although not directly related to the theme of my conversation, it is somehow connected. I will share my ideas and experiences to help readers who are curious, stuck, or looking to enhance their understanding of life. I’ll attempt to give you simple examples (in layman’s terms) so that everyone may connect and relate.

HELLO, LOVELY READERS. 🙋I HOPE EVERYTHING IS GOING WELL FOR YOU. SENDING YOU LOVE, LIGHT AND HEALING ENERGY.✨💫

EFFORT AS INSTINCTIVE DUTY

Karma brings determinism but Nature ensures the actor still performs/Effort as instinctive duty/The law of nature and physics viewpoint/Efforts are not necessarily intended to modify or confront fate

We humans are made with senses, emotions, instincts, and survival mechanisms; we cannot avoid any of them, therefore even if you try your hardest to avoid exerting yourself, you will still end up with that.

To put it another way, effort is a part of our deterministic design and is inherent in nature, despite the common misconception that it is a product of our beliefs or choices.

I’d like to introduce the law of nature and physics viewpoint. The first fundamental example is.. Suppose a person drowns in deep water and is unable to swim. Even if life is predetermined, in this critical scenario, he can’t keep still without making efforts to get out of the water and instead thinks that if I’m intended to survive, I’ll survive no matter what.
That would be a separate scenario, whether or not he is able to survive after coming out of the water with support, and in what condition. But his initial reaction would be to try to get out, seek aid and scream because that is a basic human instinct.

Coming out of the water might be seen as a kind of worship, chanting, or remedy. Because we cannot remain immobile and are unable to anticipate the future, we will attempt to act instinctively. You can interpret this as a natural law or biological response; our nervous system will undoubtedly force us to act. Effort is a form of instinctual duty. We live in a world where other people’s success and promotion drive us to move forward, and we don’t mind putting in extra effort.

No one wakes up and decides to stay in bed all day if they are physically healthy or to challenge destiny by saying things like I will not do daily routine work; if something is meant to happen, it will happen automatically but Nature will not agree with you; we are bound by nature’s law.

You’ll feel compelled to get up and perform morning routines. Gravity will drag us down, our hunger/stomach will continue to demand nourishment and the body will want survival/service. Whether you like it or not, time will proceed at its own pace. Physics and natural law perspectives are both relevant.

Although our survival and death are predetermined, our neurological system will continue to act and respond. To eat, we must labor; to live, we must respond.

Now this is a very simple, very gentle example. Destiny, effort and nature all play an essential role. Consider the concept of childbirth: if a baby is expected to arrive after marriage, does this imply that a couple will wait for magic to happen without sharing feelings of closeness? Don’t you suppose fate isn’t waiting or demanding their efforts?

It is an alternative viewpoint, but it can also be viewed in this way: if a child is supposed to be born, he or she will undoubtedly arrive on this planet and destiny will ensure that this occurs. The couple invests their time, energy and patience. Long nine-month journey patience, perseverance, care and faith. Can’t it be regarded as a form of worship?

We will put forth human efforts (swimming), spiritual efforts (praying), mental efforts (manifestation) etc. from our side, at the very least, that will undoubtedly bring us satisfaction because we are not destiny and we cannot control our fate as well.
Efforts are not necessarily intended to modify or confront fate; rather, they assist us in dealing with or moving through uncertainty.

SAGE MARKANDEYA (DEVOTION AND IMMORTALITY)

When our fate is shaped by love and dedication/heartfelt famous tale about a sage named Markandeya/karma is ready to cheerfully rewrite our fate

If we temporarily lay aside our pragmatic and analytical perspective, can we briefly discuss miracles? When our fate is shaped by love and dedication, Karma itself extends an invitation, opens the door, and says, “Please come inside. You have been waiting for a long time showing unwavering trust, patience, and passion. Here’s your key,” Karma leaves with a smile.

Our destiny may be predestined, however there is an ancient, heartfelt famous tale about a sage named Markandeya. We discover this in mahapuranas/cultural texts (Markandeya purana), where he was scheduled to leave this planet at the age of 16, but his unwavering love and devotion to Lord Shiva earned him immortality.

So, what did we learn from this? If our prayers, unwavering trust, and dedication to our ultimate source are combined with truthfulness, patience, and willpower, karma is ready to cheerfully rewrite our fate.

When people say that everything is predestined, why should they pray?
I reply, perhaps those fill in the blanks can only be filled with dedication, prayers, chanting, meditation or sadhna, and what if they are also prewritten. And honestly, I believe miracles only happen to individuals who are innocent, tactless, pure-hearted, and have pure intentions.

And let me tell you something. Miracles may happen to every living creature, whether you are a theist or an atheist, as I have often stated in my linked articles. If the things you hold in your heart are pure, and you enjoy serving every living being on this planet generously. You can be a little rebellious by nature due to innocence or curiosity, or your method/ route may differ from others, which is perfectly great, but it should never go against nature.

.

THROUGH MY LENS

Why can’t we make the most of it without questioning who received what? Trust me when I say that your journey will seem miraculous.

We occasionally see some of us go through the stages of student and professional life without exerting much effort, find the right match with ease, and have everything go so well within societal and biological time frames. Now how will you describe this? It could be because of that person’s good past karmas, but that doesn’t mean that every being who sees challenges and obstacles in every phase has bad karmas, It doesn’t have to be that way.
This is because some souls choose to experience ups and downs and choose a difficult path so that their soul can evolve and go towards enlightenment. The pain, suffering, difficulties, and obstacles can all serve as learning opportunities for others.

Those who follow a religious or spiritual path engage in worship, practice remedies or chanting, execute rituals, and put forth effort; perhaps this path has been chosen or intended for them. They can accrue some positive karmas on this pathway, and we can also master patience while gathering knowledge and experiences. Additionally, taking this path allows us to meet our higher selves and balance the karmas from former lives.

Experience, patience, knowledge, and more importantly our participation or contribution are all required. So, each of us has an interesting and unique path, so focus on the road ahead; it is far more important than the destination in itself.

And never allow yourself to feel distressing emotions such as envy, anguish, feelings of worthlessness, disheartenment or comparing your life to others. Don’t be afraid of falling; take a pause but don’t stop. We cannot see the future, and believe me, that is the beauty of nature; it is what nature desires, and it should remain that way. Somewhere it develops a sense of equality, and perceive them as equal opportunities for all, why can’t we make the most of it without questioning who received what?

At least we can exert human, spiritual, and physical effort without emitting a heavy sigh of regret. If things do not go as planned, clarity and a fresh direction or strategy will undoubtedly be present.

You will do what you want to do, but things will happen as the universe, the divine, fate, whatever energy you believe in desires. However, once we start acting in accordance with nature or what the universe expects, you will begin to receive exactly what you have long sought. When you proceed with the path of nature, you will be rewarded tenfold. You don’t have to feel helpless or overpowered when you adhere to nature; in fact, you should never allow your ego to get in the way.

Humans have undoubtedly created and discovered a great deal, but it may be disastrous when awareness becomes ego. We should all avoid thinking these kinds of bad notions.
Accept nature’s invitation to co-create. The question of who created what should never concern us.

We shouldn’t complicate our lives by engaging in ego battles. Can’t we just be humble enough to express thankfulness for the sky, sun, moon, stars at night, and beautiful nature and surroundings, regardless of whether you are a theist or an atheist? Trust me, it will never make you tiny, but will make you feel an immediate sense of wholeness and being undivided

Remember, we have the right to ask questions but not complain. So, accept the way things unfold and what comes your way. Trust me when I say that your journey will seem miraculous.🪷✨💫
